Welcome to Join In (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Join In is a social connection platform that helps people find meaningful, real-time interactions based on shared activities, moods, or causes. Your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose,

and protect your information when you use the Join In mobile app or website (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to help you connect safely:

Information You Provide: Account details (name, email, phone number), profile information (interests, hobbies, profile photos), and interactions (messages, voice/video chat history).
Information We Collect Automatically: Device data (OS version, unique identifiers), usage data (app actions, crash logs), and optional location data for activity-based pairing.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to make Join In safe and reliable:

To personalize your profile and match you with users based on shared interests.
To enable real-time interactions.
Safety & AI Moderation: We use automated AI tools (OpenAI) to screen profile photos and text for nudity, violence, or offensive content. We also collect "User Reports" to facilitate our manual review process.

3. Sharing and Security

No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal data.
Security: We use modern encryption to protect user data. Any user engaging in harmful behavior will be permanently banned via our internal Admin Panel.
Data Retention: We retain data only as long as necessary. You may request account deletion at any time, which permanently erases your data.

4. Children’s Privacy

Join In is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Terms of Use for Join In

These Terms govern your access to and use of Join In. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Identity

You must be at least 18 years old to use Join In. We do not support anonymous guest accounts; a verified profile is required for all interactions to ensure user accountability and community safety.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity. Notify us at arkatech.001@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Zero-Tolerance Policy

You agree to use Join In responsibly. We maintain a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding objectionable content. You must NOT:

Share or post content that is pornographic, sexually explicit, or contains nudity.
Use the platform for anonymous harassment, bullying, or threats.
Share hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory content.
AI-Powered Filtering: All user profiles and media are filtered by AI moderation tools. Any attempt to upload prohibited content will result in an immediate block or account termination.

4. Safety, Blocking, and Reporting

To ensure a safe environment, we provide mandatory safety features:

Reporting: Users can report any content or user that violates our Terms via the in-app reporting tool.
Blocking: Users can block any other user at any time with a single tap, immediately preventing all further interaction.
Administrative Action: Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Offending content will be removed, and violators will be permanently banned via their unique user ID.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate our Zero-Tolerance Policy, engage in behavior that harms other users, or fail to comply with these Terms.

6. Disclaimer and Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” Join In and its affiliates are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service or from interactions with other users.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
